What is your favorite part about being an ophthalmologist?

The opportunity to give the gift of sight. Cataract surgery in particular helps many patients see better than they have in years and sometimes allows them to see more than they ever have seen in their lifetime. That’s always thrilling for me and such an honor to perform.

How many years have you been practicing ophthalmology?

I have been practicing ophthalmology for 25 years.

Favorite thing to do outside of work?

I enjoy playing classical piano pieces in my spare time and traveling around the world.
