Sydney L. Tyson, MD, MPH is a Co-Founder of Eye Associates as well as Founder and President of SurgiCenter of Vineland. He is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Tyson is a graduate of Harvard Medical School and Harvard School of Publaic Health in Boston, MA. He completed his ophthalmology residency at the Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia.
Dr. Tyson has lectured at national conferences, Wills Eye Hospital conferences as well as to local physicians. He is a contributing editor for Evidence Based Eye Care since 1998; Evidence Based Eye Care is a journal for Ophthalmologist. Dr. Tyson is an Attending Surgeon at Wills Eye Hospital where he teaches the Residents. As a Board Certified Ophthalmologist, Dr. Tyson’s special areas of expertise include Laser & Premium Cataract Surgery, Cosmetic & Refractive Surgery, Custom Bladeless LASIK, and Glaucoma.
Dr. Tyson currently serves as a Board of Director and is Treasurer for Cataract and Primary Eye Care Service, Ltd., Wills Eye Hospital. He is active in many professional organizations and memberships.

9/81-1/82 Senior honors thesis involving the elucidation of the DNA binding properties of the ral polypeptides of Haemophilus influenza mutants. Work done with Dr. Sol Goodgal, Associate Professor of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania.
