I was born on the West Coast of Peru, but my family moved to the United States when I was very young. Growing up we lived in several locations across Central New Jersey.
Ophthalmology is a beautiful field! The complexities and detailed-oriented approach are the attributes I enjoy the most, and no ophthalmic subspecialty embodies these attributes more than vitreoretinal surgery. I also take great pride in building physician-patient relationships by spending time with and educating my patients.
I have been practicing ophthalmology for 7 years but have been specializing in retina for 5 years.
I love attending sporting events and exercising.
